VLF Converter lets you enter the world of VLF radio.
For Only $99.95!
Lets you listen to the LF and VLF bands
(10-500 kHz) on your short wave receiver.
Connect between antenna and receiver.
Receives navigation radio beacons, standard frequency WWVB,
1750 meter license-free band, European long wave broadcast band, atmospheric phenomena and
more.
Many receivers do not cover the LF and VLF
bands or, if they do, have greatly reduced sensitivity on these bands and often suffer
from overload interference from local medium wave broadcast stations.
The VLF converter has a 7 pole filter to eliminate medium wave interference and has excellent sensitivity. It installs between the antenna and the radio. When turned "Off" the antenna connects directly to the radio for normal short wave reception.
When turned "On" the 10-500 kHz band appears at 4010-4500 kHz. By ignoring the "4" the receiver reads VLF frequencies directly, i.e., 100 kHz is at dial 4100, 150 kHz at 4150, etc. (Model VLF-S).
For listeners who have
"ham-band" only receivers Model VLF-A converts to 3510-4000 kHz in the 80 meter
amateur band.
