You would get better performance by putting your money in an increased diameter copper tubing. The performance of my five foot loop made from one inch copper tubing was terrible on 7 MHz. On 14 MHz it was equal or better than a dipole at 40 feet. I too would be interested in seeing the actual comparison of silverplated versus plain copper. My guess is the difference would be minute.
