Interesting experiment, some time ago I did make a home silver plated magnetic loop that gave me good results but it is difficult to compare the differences with a plain copper loop.If you look up the conductivity or resistance of copper versus silver in a physics book you will find that the difference is only something like 5 % and that means that you would not be able to see any difference in the end result. The difference between copper and aluminium is about 3o% and for antennas for transmitting this might show a difference. Looking forward however to hear from the experiment. Jef
