Thanks Jef. I'm sorry but I don't know ON4CFC, but i've seen his pages on this website. If you look at the pictures of the commercial Hexbeam, then you see that there is not a lot of space in the central tube for placing ballun's, stub's or wathever . Surely a user of this antenna must have taken a look in the tube?! Still a bit of a mistery... Thanks again for your advice. 73's Peter
