There is an FCC ruling which negates CC&Rs that allows an antenna with up to a 39" dish to extend up to 12' above the roof line. Sounds like a top loaded HF vertical to me, especially if you have a ground wire on standoffs grounded to the bottom of your MH (required for lightning safety). Somewhere along this (insulated) ground wire, wrap a few turns aroud a ferrite and.... Also, to stabilize the dish use 4, not 2, aluminum guys with clear plastic or porcelain "strain reliefs at each end. Two should be 8' and two 12'. Connect an 8' and a 12' together at the upper end and connect a balun. sorry PVC tube between the two pairs. They should leave the mast at a 45 degree angle. This should cover 10, 15, 20 and 40; also 80 with a tuner. There is nothing that says that a receiving antenna cannot also be used to transmit by a licensed ham.
