#1 Going mobil for first time. Thinking about purchasing a Hustler antenna system. Have a pickup with glass topper. Should I mount the antenna off the trailer hitch or on the side of the body? (oh those dreadful holes in the body) Live in Chicago. Plenty of salt in winter. Mounted on the side of the body, coax connections would be inside the bed. If I mounted off the trailer hitch, I would attach a 1/4 piece of steel with bolts to come off the driver to the driver side of the vehicle. #2 Have a TS-140. If I go the Hustler I will need an auto tunner. Would I be better off purchasing a screwdriver type antenna?
