You might find my article on "CYLOAD" in the Sept/Oct '98 issue of QEX of interest here. It was written before I heard of CFA. Despite some of the language in the GAP patent, it looks a lot like a cylinder loaded monopole to me. If you can wade thru the language, which was written around HAMCALC, you will see that , at least, it can be treated as such. I haven't tried my curves or HAMCALC on the GAP, but I'll do so in the next couple of days and see what I find. By the way, if there's anybody out there who hasn't heard of HAMCALC look at some recent issues of CQ. It has just about all of the programs many hams will ever need. Hal
