No, Dick, I'm not connected in any way with GAP. When I initially visited the GAP Web site I was intrigued with the form of the antenna and thought it might be fun to try building. So I obtained the patent and translated it into an experimental model which I'm now refining as I learn more about how it works. The questions you ask about performance of this antenna vs the CFA vs the small loop are ones of interest to many of us, I think, but need to be answered through more experimentation. For an attic installation simple materials like I used - foil covered cardboard carton, plywood, copper plumbers tape, copper tubing - should be quite adequate. I have not found the materials difficult to work with just using basic tools. 73
