Why dont use another concentric ring around the D plate for the production of the E field, if that's all we need to cross fielded the magnetic field produced by the end of the inner ring. Of course both signal must be dephased by + and - 45 degres from the supply before beeing connected to the plates? I build one and it dont work at all?
