Hi All, I feel a need to learn more about "Nearly Vertical Incidence Skywave" propagation and antennas. Have been searching this forum, but NVIS does not seem a hot topic, or a topic either. Is NVIS a tale or scientifically grounded? If I had a 30° TOA vertical on 40 m, and a 40 m horizontal dipole at 5 m agl, what would that mean in terms of skip distance? Tnx for any comments, 73, Johan ON5EX
