Reading the Televert article seems to take us back to the EH antenna. In fact one would probably suspect that the feedline is part of this antenna as well as indicated from this excerpt from the article - When connected together, a slight frequency shift (due to possible mutual inductivity between coils) was measured and compensated for by adjusting the length of the feeding coax cable.
