I think Mr.Hately has lost his faith in us and is not on line any more. He has probably passed his computer out the window. I do not at all agree with your interpretations. Mr.Van Der Byl is a skilled person who has evaluated his CFA with a field strength meter and has evaluated the geometry of where the radiation originates and how much. --- However another experiment on a PVS-antenna related to the CFA is presented here: http://www.omnirep.ch/pdf/comparison%20between%20different%20antennas%20on%20a%20cb%20portable%20set.pdf In this experiment all of your concerns has been eliminated. ---- It is in the nature of a patent holder not to reveal too much information in public. This is to prevent others to bypass the protection in that same patent. It is in the interest of a patent holder to sell the know-how in a licence. The licence holder then develops the device from a prototype to a commercial product. --- Regards Håkan --- Other references: Page of Mr.Van Der Byl: http://www.geocities.com/vk2edb/CFA.htm Page of Mr.Bibhas R.
