David - obviously I blundered into your rhetorical question there. . . The CFA work was done at Robert Gordon University in the 1980s and perhaps the early 1990s. It occurred to me that if any doctorates were awarded for the work, it would be a simple matter to get hold of any thesis or theses that were submitted. As I understand it the university is obliged to respond to any such request. I wonder if anyone has tried to do this, or whether Maurice could help in this matter? . . . All the best, Alan
