Stefano - thanks for the reply and you said in your earlier posting that the performance of the antenna cannot be explained from the classical theory, then you implied in the last message that it can. This could leave people confused. . . The measured input resistance of 35 ohms is believable, but it is necessary to show that this is mainly radiation resistance and not loss resistance. That problem is still there. . . When you say the EH antenna develops a high Rrad, it's better to give a reason, if there is one, based on either classical EM theory or a new EM theory. I was just interested to find out how the thing works. . . . 73s, Alan
