Hi Dave, The 1 db you are referring to is: when the EH antenna is at HIS 2:1 SWR range limit shows 1 db under (only) respect the mid band 1:1 SWR frequency.Please read again my previous post. I was simply intrigued by the alternative formula Alan told us to estimate the efficiency and I reported the standard data available for a 7 mhz EH antenna. regards, stefano IK5IIR
