HI Alan, yes the BW at -3db is 400 khz (not hz..) Alan I decided to put this post according to your alternative method to calculate the efficiency WITHOUT the Rrad and X.In fact doing the ratio of lossless BW and actual BW, the EH shows high efficiency. If this formula is correct (and it is...) this prove we have a new beast here. IF you want use the classical values as usual we go in trouble, because the core of this new application we claim is just to develop high Rrad. I know that classical theory predict a very low value for such short fat dipole . BUT here is the breakthrough...the EH antenna (like the CFA) develops an high Rrad when tuned on EH mode. As I told you about 35 ohms.From this we can get a very high efficiency. so to resume.... large BW ,high Rrad. You can not explain this from the classical theory, a new behavior must be present.
