David - the Miller book has lIbrary of Congress Card no. 63-21683 and was also published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston in 1956 and in the UK by Constable. The Collin book, section 2.3, shows why the simple Green function exp(-jkr)/r is correct for the vector potential of a current element. The derivation of the NEC equations is given in the NEC program description part 2 (142 pages). Harrington's book 'Field computation by moment methods' has Library of Congress Card no. 68-10184. Harrington was the leader of the large team of graduate students who produced the NEC code over quite a few years. . . . 73s Alan
