Hakan - all antennas use charge movement (i.e. currents) on conducting plates or wires. I can't think of an exception to that, and if you believe Poynting's theorem, energy is coupled into the EM field only by charges (currents) being forced by the external generator against an electric field. Voltages do not radiate because they are just a theoretical abstraction. NEC can be used for analysing antennas, including CFAs, but if you don't believe NEC results you can try experimental measurements instead. These have been tried for CFAs in six countries and the results were summarised in Antennex. - 73s Alan
