David - my comment would be that the field distributions of many antenna types have been well understood for a very long time, and the potentials are part and parcel of that. There is a formula for the vector potential of a current distribution in all the text books e.g. Feynman II chapter 15 and Collin chapter 2, that has been verified correct many times over. As with the other field components, the vector potential reduces as 1/r only in the far-field region. If Mike's results are consistent with the known results they might get published and I would be surprised and interested if there's anything innovative there. . Best regards, Alan
