Greetings Bill and thanks for the whishes ! The same good whishes for you and everybody reading this forum. I like very much the transmission line concept of yours and follow with great interest this ideea. I wonder what would happen if a good mathematician would compute the function you mentioned as a sum of partial derivatives representing the displacement current of the Maxwell eq. Would this give us also "steps" of a displacement current following the same exponential law? Maybe the task will be easier by using spheric coordinates i.e E= f(t,ro,phi) vy 73 Werner
