It is noticeable how the transmitting community goes quiet when safety issues are raised. Handset-owners (like with passive smoking, they interfere with the health of adjacent people), Phone companies (very keen to allay fears, but usually by lack of dispensation of information) Broadcast companies (One of my ex-BBC colleagues gets very worked up over the issue of safety of transmitters) and last, but not least, Hams.
