Just a final comment from me - then I promise I will behave :-). I am not questioning your new model of the capacitor, and I havo no doubt that you can model a capacitor as a transmission line. On this respect, I am curious to see how you will do it without being "recursive", i.e. withouth modelling a capacitor with more capacitors (and inductors). What I am trying to state is that you can possibily model a simple phenomenon (like a lumped capacitor) neglecting "mithological quantities"; but this does not mean that they "do not exist" in more complex phenomena. In this respect, I find some of your papers conclusions too ambitious. Re slot antennas, the radiation source is the electric field distribution on the aperture, i.e. the displacement current as we define it. (jw eps E) Best reGARDS, Michele
