Chu and others have demonstrated that there is a near-impenetrable antenna size barrier. Practical antennas can only be built with sizes down to about one or two tenths of a wavelength. All empirical evidence supports this conclusion. <><><>But consider this: Electrons routinely radiate photons. An atomic size is of the order of 0.1 nm and an optical wavelength is on the order of 500 nm.<><><><> Mother Nature has been "building" and "using' antennas that are abot 500 times smaller than the best practical physical antenna that we know how to build.<><><> There is a lot of room for improvement, folks!
