Yes, it will work but one should ask if it would be better to wind a coil from (possibly thinner and soft drawn) copper tube instead of soldering a square coil from elbows and pieces of straight tube. I think of the ratio of raised Q of the coil relatively to the soldering so many joints instead of bending the tube to a coil may be not worth the efford. If you take solder with much silver, the soldered joints will be as good as copper tube without solder joints and the skin effect would result in a higher Q for this square coil because you use tube with a larger diameter. But if you take simple electronic solder with a simple mixture from Sn, Pb and Sb all these joints will lower the Q. The best form for a wire bent to a coil is circular anyway, which results in highest Q. The only advantage for the square coil may be a mechanical, but what for? You can make measurements of the Q by measuring the voltage across the coil relatively to the TX-output voltage...
