I'm very interested in the effects of radiating ground currents induced by small capacitative plates, whose power supply is returned to ground some distance from the point under the plate driver.

I now tend to think that many compact antennas, including loops and so-called capacitor antennas, work primarily by inducing current which radiates, not only in adjacent isolated structures, but also in the ground itself. K5CNF's experience in the military seems to support this view.
